Strategic Management Approaches for Post-Pandemic Business Resilience and Recovery
Abstract
The business environment of the world in 2026 has shifted to the post-acute recovery period of the early 2020s into the period of structural volatility. Resilience is not a self-defense mechanism that helps one to survive a transient storm; it has become a growth engine. In the research compiled by Rzepka and Paździor (2025), it is pointed out that to have an economic resilience through the post-pandemic period, there is a need to fundamentally reevaluate the management strategies to be able to manage such endemic disruptions. Achieving success today demands a hybrid model that pairs centralized ethical governance with decentralized, information-driven execution to ensure localized agility [1].
